Foundation
Foundation of CHETRA GmbH by Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Hans J. Rabl in Munich. Sealing technology products were engineered in-house and manufactured externally. Focus areas: mechanical seals, packings, and maintenance products.
Joint Venture Hungary
Foundation of CHETRA-Budapest Kft in Budapest to support market expansion in Eastern Europe.
Market & Industry Specialization
Started production of mechanical seals and packings in Garching (near Munich), with a shift toward customer-specific high-quality solutions.
API Mechanical Seals
Development of API mechanical seals through close collaboration with a German refinery, a petrochemical plant, and an OEM for pipeline pumps.
Expansion to Singapore
CHETRA Sealing Technology Pte. Ltd. founded in Singapore to strengthen presence in the Asia-Pacific region.
Middle East Expansion

This Code of Conduct defines the fundamental principles and guidelines that govern ethical behavior at CHETRA Dichtungstechnik AG. It serves as a framework for all employees to conduct business with integrity and responsibility.
All employees are required to comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies in all countries where CHETRA operates. This includes but is not limited to trade laws, export controls, and local business regulations.
All employees must avoid situations in which their personal or financial interests conflict with those of CHETRA. For that reason, among other things, they are forbidden from making investments in CHETRA's competitors, suppliers or customers, or from entering into business relationships with them privately, where this could lead to a conflict of interests.
CHETRA has a zero-tolerance policy towards corruption and bribery. Employees must not offer, promise, give, or accept any improper payments or benefits to influence business decisions or gain unfair advantages.
