4. Web Analytics

We use Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool, to evaluate the usage of our website statistically. Umami does not set cookies and does not store any personal data. No IP addresses are stored and no cross-site tracking is performed. Processing is based on our legitimate interest in improving our website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

5. Functional Cookies

Our website uses only technically necessary cookies. One cookie stores your language preference (PARAGLIDE_LOCALE) so the website is displayed in your preferred language. Another value in your browser's local storage remembers your light/dark mode setting. These are essential for the operation of the website and do not require consent.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Your data is shared with processors to the extent necessary for the operation of our website (e.g., hosting via Cloudflare). Data processing agreements pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR are in place with these service providers. In the context of hosting, personal data may be transferred to third countries (in particular the USA). Such transfers are carried out on the basis of an adequacy decision by the European Commission (EU-US Data Privacy Framework) or appropriate safeguards pursuant to Art. 46 GDPR.

7. Data Security and Retention

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Your data is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the respective purposes or as required by statutory retention periods. Contact inquiries are regularly deleted no later than 12 months after final processing, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

  • Right to rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data (Art. 16 GDPR).
